Welcome to Civil Kitchen, your go-to spot for scratch-made comfort food in the heart of Springfield, MO. Since we opened our doors on October 14, 2015, we have been committed to creating a dining experience that feels like home, with a menu inspired by our owner’s background in Civil Engineering and a genuine love for delicious, comforting meals.
At Civil Kitchen, we believe in listening to our customers. Our “What The People Want” philosophy drives us to evolve our menu based on your feedback and cravings. Many of our specialty featured menu items have been born from the enthusiastic suggestions of our guests, making every visit a chance to try something new and exciting.
Community is at the core of what we do. We take pride in our partnerships with local non-profits, including The Child Advocacy Center and The Discovery Center, supporting initiatives that enrich our neighborhood and help those in need.
In December 2018, we faced a challenge when a fire shut down our second floor. However, we turned adversity into opportunity, pouring our hearts and souls into a beautiful remodel. The result? A stunning dining space with an even more spectacular view of Park Central Square—especially magical during the Christmas season. We’re delighted to host parties and events that leave attendees with full bellies and high spirits.
